We’re so glad you’re curious enough to check out Berkley First in-person! We want your visit to be barrier free, so we put a few tips below to help you know what to expect when you come check out worship, try a journey group, or attend an event.

Where is the church located?

We are located at 2820 12 Mile Road in beautiful downtown Berkley, Michigan.

Where is parking?

Parking is located a block from the church building, behind the Rite Aid with the Berkley theater marquee.

Is the building ADA accessible?

The building is ADA accessible, with a ramp at the west entrance and a small elevator located at the east entrance off of Kipling Ave.

Is there something for children?

Children’s programming is offered during the 10:00 a.m. worship service, with separate classrooms for nursery, preschool, and elementary age children. On fifth Sundays of the month, we all worship together as one big boisterous beloved family. Your children are always welcome to worship with you in the Sanctuary.

Am I really welcome here?

This is a casual, come-as-you-are kind of church. Baggage is welcome, and there’s no need to check your brain at the door.

With around 130 people in attendance each week, Berkley First is large enough to offer great programs and small enough to still feel like a neighborhood church. That said, we have plenty of folks who drive 20-30 minutes or more to get here. Come discover why an inclusive Jesus-loving church with excellent modern music is worth the drive!
