A women’s mission team is headed to Honduras November 29 – December 6. We will be building two houses, hosting a women’s conference followed by a celebratory meal and free store as well as focusing on building lasting relationships with the women of La Corroza. Our goal is to better understand their needs as Birmingham and Berkley First begins a relationship with this village.
Here’s what we know:
The village is mostly women and children who live in severe poverty. The unsafe shelters where they live in do not have doors that lock. This causing a fear-based life of having to stay homebound to protect what little they do have. Also, our missionary partner in Honduras mentioned their inability to access undergarments and footwear.
