Celebrate Easter Sunday at Berkley First on March 31. Pastor Zack will deliver the sermon titled “Upraising” from John 20.
When Jesus rose up from that cold stone slab, he raised all of us. When Jesus walked out of that tomb, resurrection became reality for all of us. Easter is not merely historical fact; it is also present reality and future hope. Through Jesus’ work, we are involved in raising people up from depression and despair, from poverty and oppression. Together, we can raise our children to be part of that transformative work, and raise and be raised as servant leaders. The upraising of Jesus continues in our communities today.
At 8:30 a.m. children are invited to worship with their family. Sunday School is offered at 10:00 a.m.
